Frank Parson, known as the father of career guidance, published his theory in1909, since then many theories have evolved. Since then, several theories were published worldwide by renowned career theorists.

Mainly process theories and lately combination of two basic sets, that is content and process theories have evolved. The structure of the theories differs in content and /or process or both of decision making. Content refers to the influences of career development, such as personality, traits, interest’s values etc. Process refers to accounts of change over time and the decision-making process.

One objective of Coaching and planning career is of helping people choose an occupation that they enjoy pursuing and build a career for a better living. Most of the students / and in early career they are not aware of what they want to do in their professional life.

Approach to Planning and Coaching

Career Coaching is a set of principles or ideals that drive and/or guide every individual’s beliefs and their success. Every individual within your organizations gets his / her personal guidance. This gives structure to realise and determine what is meaningful and important, in their personal and professional aspects of life.  Every employee will be given guidance and help to express “who you are and what you stand for”.

In the process of measuring oneself on the set of value parameters, it acts as your guiding scale in highlighting your areas of strengthening needed for achieving the desired result in both personal and professional aspects of life.
